ALLISON WALKER: This is your Luminescence debut,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. What vibe are you going for?
SEAN GERRITY: We're taking our own spin on some absolute holiday classics. So whether it's New Orleans in "Winter Wonderland,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," or we're doing a real Middle Eastern-style "Little Drummer Boy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," we take people to some different places. We kind of 'book end' it with a little Tran-Siberian fun.
AW: With a release of your first CD ever, what do you want people to know about your sound?
SG: "Do You Hear What We Hear" is not to allude to the voices that are in our heads [laughing]. It's to allude to the wonderful holiday music that's all around. What makes us pretty unique is it's 6 men singing. Troy is our human beat box. It's so many different influences. Eleven vignettes showcase different scenes from the TV classic. Capture the charm of the "Florida Freezer" with characters such as Melman the Giraffe, the tallest sculpture, standing at 10 feet. IMPORTANT: ICE! is kept at a frigid 9 degrees Fahrenheit (-13 degrees Celsius). Be sure to dress appropriately: Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required.
